The Tides offers the access to the area’s fine dining, galleries, beaches and shops in minutes from its front doors. The address for the Tides is on Cooper River Drive, but it is located off Wingo Way next to the Waterfront Park.

This is one of the best locations in the Mt Pleasant area as the access to everything is quick and easy:


  • International AIRPORT & Boeing :: 13 miles with direct highway access - 20 minute drive​

  • Historic Downtown Charleston :: 5 miles by car to the center of the downtown Market, or take the water-taxi in the summer from the marina.​

  • Patriots Point GOLF Links :: 1.5 miles

  • Harbor Marina :: 1.5 miles  an easy bike ride or healthy walk that is without traffic as the paths wind down the waterway.


  • Whole Foods & Trader Joe’s FOOD:: 1 miles

  • Numerous restaurants and shopping within walking distance.



A half-mile bike path and walking trail which winds along the Lowcountry marsh to connect to the following:
